About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with planning, writing, and publishing content for franchisee and external customer audiences
- Correspond with the franchise network on public relations and community relations questions
- Educate franchisees about public relations support tools and content
- Write franchisee and customer stories, conduct interviews, and prepare editorial content for external release
- Research public relations tactics and competitor trends
- Provide updated content for the company website
- Support Community Relations work involving Corporate Social Responsibility charities
- Assist with special projects
- Analyze key data and interpret findings for Marketing campaigns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
- Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions
- Must be a rising college junior or senior, or recent graduate within the last 12 months
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of public relations, including press releases, bylines, media pitches, and public speaking
- Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with diverse internal, external, and franchisee audiences
- Experience using Microsoft Office preferred
- Ability to synthesize information, think critically, ask questions, and provide creative ideas and feedback
- Interest in supporting charitable causes
