About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and verify import declarations
  • Receive, verify and request the client or the person responsible for the import process, the documentation and information required
  • Send the necessary information for the classification and creation of products to the classification area
  • Keep updated the information and dates of each stage of the nationalization process in the opencomex, XXI century, Muisca computer systems
  • Advise clients in their nationalization processes
  • Organize the daily procedures with the customs import assistant
  • Prepare and/or provide reports that clients may require
  • Organize, classify and file the documents of the operations, in physical or digital form
  • Respond to the requirements of clients, immediate superiors, coordinators, supervisors and managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technologist, technician or student of foreign trade, business international, logistics or related
  • Certified experience in trading activities outside
  • Knowledge and experience with registrations and licenses of import
  • Knowledge of customs regulations on issues corresponding to tariff classification, VoBo, Requirements, TLC and determined by controlling entities and regulators in Colombia
