About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review and verify import declarations
Receive, verify and request the client or the person responsible for the import process, the documentation and information required
Send the necessary information for the classification and creation of products to the classification area
Keep updated the information and dates of each stage of the nationalization process in the opencomex, XXI century, Muisca computer systems
Advise clients in their nationalization processes
Organize the daily procedures with the customs import assistant
Prepare and/or provide reports that clients may require
Organize, classify and file the documents of the operations, in physical or digital form
Respond to the requirements of clients, immediate superiors, coordinators, supervisors and managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technologist, technician or student of foreign trade, business international, logistics or related
Certified experience in trading activities outside
Knowledge and experience with registrations and licenses of import
Knowledge of customs regulations on issues corresponding to tariff classification, VoBo, Requirements, TLC and determined by controlling entities and regulators in Colombia
