About the role

  • Develops and manages a portfolio of assigned Business-to-Business clients within a specific geographical area
  • Searches and develops potential clients to meet monthly sales targets
  • Contacts prospects via telephone or email to gather information and set appointments
  • Analyzes customer needs, prepares bids, and presents UPS services
  • Focuses on retaining and penetrating active clients in portfolio
  • Completes maintenance, problem resolution, and sales management of client portfolio
  • Monitors sales through drafting and updating reports and internal systems

Requirements

  • Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
  • Willing to travel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent (preferred)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
