Account Executive
UPSAccount Executive developing and managing logistics solutions for B2B and B2C customers at UPS. Focusing on new business acquisition and client relationship management in a defined territory.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding customer needs and positioning UPS as a strategic logistics partner.
- Conduct in-person client meetings and presentations to deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage and expand an assigned book of business through retention, cross-sell, and upsell strategies.
- Negotiate and prepare comprehensive logistics solutions that align with customer objectives.
- Stay informed on competitor offerings and market trends to effectively position UPS’s value.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, opportunities, and outcomes in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Plus 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or a related industry – Required
- Intermediate computer skills: Word, Excel, and Outlook (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent prospecting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
- Willing to travel on the own territory | Class G License
- Availability to work flexible hours and provides own vehicle for business
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent – Preferred
