About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust plant floor devices
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Diagnose faults and repair breakdowns
  • Respond quickly to emergencies
  • Install, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, and control panels
  • Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in sortation equipment
  • Assist in installing new machinery and upgrading existing systems
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper use of PPE

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Programming experience including troubleshooting and basic understanding of networks
  • Motor control theory
  • Equipment maintenance including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and welding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Qualification to a minimum standard of level 3
