About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust plant floor devices
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
- Diagnose faults and repair breakdowns
- Respond quickly to emergencies
- Install, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, and control panels
- Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in sortation equipment
- Assist in installing new machinery and upgrading existing systems
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper use of PPE
Requirements
What you’ll need- Programming experience including troubleshooting and basic understanding of networks
- Motor control theory
- Equipment maintenance including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and welding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Qualification to a minimum standard of level 3
