About the role
- Engages with team members to develop robust account strategies and ensure effective application of sales and negotiation skills.
- Drives results in key areas of the business plan including profit, revenue growth, people development and reporting.
- Trains Account Executives (AEs) to review customer information and understand customer account status using DRIVE and other applications.
- Communicates market trends and competitor information to support the sales team in opportunity development.
- Uncovers, qualifies and engages with prospects, makes the most of available opportunities, and drives growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or International equivalent - Required
- Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
- Willing to travel
- Microsoft Office skills
- Availability to work flexible shift hours and provides own vehicle for business.
- Demonstrates a familiarity with both UPS’s and competitors’ core service offerings
- Demonstrates negotiation techniques
- Demonstrates a detailed understanding of supply chain concepts and able to recommend solutions to issues
- Previous supervisory experience – Preferred
