About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and research potential clients through various channels including artificial intelligence.
- Generate new leads via cold calling, networking, and outreach methods.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage inbound leads and campaigns.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
- Conduct compelling presentations to showcase UPS solutions and value propositions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with potential clients to secure new business.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (BDM, CSM, ASM, Brokerage, Pricing) to ensure seamless execution.
- Support customs compliance regulations through brokerage collaboration.
- Visit customer warehouses and distribution centers to understand customers’ global supply chain and business needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in B2B sales and new business acquisition.
- Strong understanding of logistics and international shipping processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrates broad understanding of business requirements and problem-solving.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel.
