About the role

  • Supports the knowledge and skill development training programs and materials for The UPS Store franchise network through the design and application of instructional design methods.
  • Works closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), managers, vendors, and various cross-functional teams to understand policies, procedures, systems, and skills that require instruction.
  • Recommends appropriate training solutions that align with project and company objectives.
  • Manages and coordinates the design, development, and implementation of various instructor-led training (ILT) programs.
  • Develops additional resources applicable to business unit needs and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) – Instructional Design, Business Administration, Training and Development, Project Management, English, Graphic Design, or related discipline.
  • Experience in an adult learning or training environment.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience using Adobe Suites, Rise 360, Articulate, and/or Storyline.
  • Experience demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of visual design principles and the ability to create visually appealing and engaging learning materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, developing instructional content, and providing feedback.
  • Experience developing corporate training materials and instructor-led course curricula – Required
