About the role
- Supports global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) users as an application developer to deliver technical OneStream financial system solutions
- Serves as a liaison between end users and Information Technology (IT)
- Lead on the FP&A OneStream Design & Configuration (ODC) team, focusing on standardizing Record-to-Report business processes and implementing EPM technology solutions for UPS global financial reporting, planning, consolidations, and analytics
- Involved in full systems life cycle management (analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, change management, production migration and support) and system enhancements delivered on time and within budget
- Performs current state analysis of existing financial systems and business processes to identify areas for improvement
- Utilizes an agile and waterfall methodology for software development lifecycle
- Strategizes and coordinates key project activities with users/consultants/off-shore support teams to resolve issues within the OneStream application
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a similar F&A Systems role
- Experience in several technical and/or functional finance roles
- Experience interpreting functional finance concepts into automated coded models/processes
- Strong background with EPM platforms, data cubes, and technical coding
- Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in MIS, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
- Lead OneStream Architect Certification – preferred
- Experience with ERP/EPM Implementation is a plus
- 5+ Years experience in VB.Net, C#, SQL or other coding languages
- 5 – 10 years experience in OneStream, Longview, Hyperion Financial Management or other EPM technologies
- Willingness to travel on occasion
