About the role

  • Lead and oversee the Healthcare QA function across logistics operations in Italy.
  • Act as the country-level owner of the healthcare quality program, ensuring consistent application of standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage internal group consultations, training, investigations, and problem solving related to healthcare quality issues to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Oversee the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, ensuring agency regulations are incorporated and proper procedures are followed by IT, Operations, and Order-to-Cash personnel across geographic locations.
  • Directly manage and develop the QA team.
  • Ensure that client product types and service requirements are correctly identified to determine applicable regulations.
  • Manage the information gathering, scheduling, preparation, and distribution of reports in support of internal and client audits.

Requirements

  • Mandatory experience in the logistics sector
  • Extensive background in Quality Assurance within healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare logistics organizations
  • Proven experience managing large teams
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality systems, regulatory inspections, and validation processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken).
