About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leads membership growth, volunteer support, and community engagement within assigned communities
  • Responsible for recruiting and retaining girls and volunteers
  • Builds strong community partnerships and serves as the primary support partner for volunteers
  • Works across teams to deliver responsive service and strengthen the volunteer experience
  • Develops and implements strategies to recruit, retain, and engage girls and volunteers based on community needs
  • Travels regularly within assigned geographic area to support volunteers and recruitment efforts
  • Provides responsive problem-solving, mediation, and conflict-resolution support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment and using conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
  • Equivalent combination of related experience and education
  • Must reside within Washington State, preferably within or near assigned geographic area
  • Access to reliable transportation and ability to fulfill travel requirements across widespread regional geography as necessary
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of volunteer activities, events, trainings, and community engagement efforts
  • Satisfactory results from criminal background search
  • Willingness to maintain Girl Scout membership
