About the role
- Support in managing outsourced payroll processing for both ongoing compensation matters and project-related tasks
- Review monthly payroll runs and oversee compliance with statutory and collective bargaining regulations in the payroll system in coordination with the external service provider
- Prepare analyses and reports for HR and Finance
- Support the provision of information for year-end closing activities in coordination with Finance, Business HR, HR Services and external providers
- Assist in responding to inquiries arising from financial, tax and social security audits — where necessary in cooperation with external service providers and the relevant authorities
- Participate in projects, including at the interface between Payroll and other areas such as Compensation, Pensions, Finance, HR Services or Business HR; continuously develop processes considering organizational structures and integration of service partners
- Support the local payroll team on projects and other matters within the scope of the role
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent professional qualification
- Experience in payroll and compensation management, as well as basic knowledge of payroll tax and social security law
- Basic experience in project work
- Willingness to learn new topics and continuously develop
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications
- Very good written and spoken German and English
