About the role

  • Manage daily HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, leave, payroll support, and compliance.
  • Serve as a resource for employee issues, providing guidance to managers and escalating when needed.
  • Partner with managers to address employee relations issues and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Implement best practices to improve scalability, efficiency, and workplace culture.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook to ensure legal compliance.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and reporting as needed.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects, such as DEI initiatives, culture programs, or process automation.
  • Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems; experience with Gusto, BambooHR, or similar platforms a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
