About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to building and testing dbt data models in Snowflake.
Write and optimise SQL transformations for analytics and reporting use cases.
Help document data models, lineage, and transformation logic.
Collaborate with data analysts to understand requirements and surface the right data.
Support data quality checks and testing practices across the transformation layer.
Explore how generative AI tools (Claude, Agents, MCPs) can support analytics engineering workflows.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ongoing academic studies or degree, preferred in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Foundational knowledge of software development, preferably with experience in Python.
Basic experience with SQL — comfortable writing queries and understanding relational data structures.
Basic experience with GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or others).
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
High attention to detail.
Solid communication skills, both oral and written.
Fluent written and oral English skills.
