About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support exploratory data analysis across product, marketing, and financial datasets.
- Help collect, clean, and prepare data for modelling and reporting.
- Assist in designing and running experiments to evaluate product features or communications.
- Contribute to machine learning prototypes and decision-support tools.
- Communicate findings clearly through visualisations, notebooks, and written summaries.
- Explore how generative AI tools (Claude, Agents, MCPs) can accelerate data science workflows.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ongoing academic studies or degree, preferred in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Foundational knowledge of Python.
- Basic experience with SQL.
- Understanding of core statistical concepts (descriptive statistics, probability, distributions).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills, both oral and written.
- Fluent written and oral English skills.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts or techniques (classification, clustering, time series forecasting) preferred.
- Experience with data exploration using Python libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) or notebooks (Jupyter).
- Basic experience with GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or others).
- Enthusiasm for solving real-world problems with data.
- Experience with BI tools like Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Fluency in cryptocurrencies or other digital assets as they are core to our business.
- Community talks, certifications, and/or blog posts on your interests and research.
- Open-source project contributions of any kind.
