UpGuard’s mission is to protect the world’s data by enabling customers to find, acknowledge, and remediate cyber risk.
Define and own the product roadmap for a specific area of UpGuard's platform, driving long-term strategy, medium-term prioritization, and day-to-day execution.
Collaborate extensively with engineering, design, and other product teams to build and refine features, ensuring they align with overall product vision.
Conduct in-depth market and user research to identify customer pain points, unmet needs, and new opportunities for product development.
Translate complex user needs and business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and user stories.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through development, launch, and post-launch iteration.
Work collaboratively with Marketing and Sales teams to effectively communicate the value and capabilities of new features and product enhancements.
Analyze the competitive landscape and market trends to ensure UpGuard’s product remains industry-leading and differentiated.
Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities within your product area.
Serve as a thought leader for your product domain, communicating with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
5+ years of proven product management experience in a SaaS environment, with a strong track record of successfully launching and iterating on complex software products.
Demonstrated ability to define and drive product strategy, from conceptualization to market delivery.
Strong understanding of product discovery methodologies and user-centered design principles.
Excellent technical acumen, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and collaborate effectively with engineering teams (knowledge of APIs, data mapping, and system interoperability is a plus).
High energy, creativity, and a willingness to deeply understand problems and find innovative solutions.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
A keen interest in product management and developing customer-centric solutions.
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and solutions, particularly in Vendor Risk Management (VRM) or External Attack Surface Management (EASM).
Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
