On-Site Support Engineer
UPGREAT AGOn-Site Support Engineer supporting international clients in IT Operations. Handling requests and assisting local IT teams while working in a hybrid model.

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- In your future role, you will work on-site at our clients' locations and support IT managers, local IT teams and end users as a competent point of contact and client representative
- You capture concerns quickly and accurately and are responsible for receiving, qualifying and processing requests, incidents and changes
- You support the client's users and IT teams on-site and take care of the maintenance of workstations, applications and the IT backend infrastructure
- You are the contact person for all IT-related questions and help customers resolve their issues
- For complex or long-running topics, you will receive support from your team of Support and Systems Engineers
- Through your direct customer support you ensure the smooth use of our IT outsourcing services and help turn our customers into fans
- You organize your workday and tasks independently and work in a hybrid model: on-site at the client, at our UPGREAT office or from home
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have completed an apprenticeship as an ICT Specialist (EFZ) or are a career changer with equivalent professional experience in the IT field (required)
- You have experience in 1st and 2nd level support, ideally as a Supporter, Support Engineer or Operations Engineer, preferably at an IT service provider
- You bring solid know-how in the Microsoft systems environment and are proficient with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office / Office 365 and common standard software
- You are familiar with Windows Servers (including roles and features), Active Directory, Exchange Server, Citrix and have experience in networking (e.g. DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- You have native-level German and can communicate well in English, both written and spoken
- You hold a category B driving licence (required)
- You enjoy direct customer contact and keep an overview even in hectic situations
- You have a strong service orientation, high resilience and flexibility
- You are self-organized, proactive and enjoy taking responsibility
