About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Automating IT processes: You develop and implement scripts—primarily using PowerShell—to automate tasks and processes in systems administration.
- Platform management: You manage and optimize our IT infrastructures, including servers, cloud platforms, networks and applications.
- Deployments: You support automation of our deployment processes and develop Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines to accelerate rollouts and improve quality.
- Implementing and monitoring automated security and compliance policies to support the security team.
- Developing tools and scripts that simplify or completely replace manual procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in operations and/or systems engineering
- Solid technical knowledge of the Microsoft product landscape—particularly in: Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, and data-center technologies (hypervisor, storage, networking, firewall, monitoring).
- PowerShell scripting and ideally experience with other automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform or comparable solutions.
- Holistic understanding of systems and their dependencies beyond your immediate area of responsibility.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems quickly and effectively.
- Enthusiasm for innovation, automation and digital transformation.
- Confident communication in German and English—both written and spoken.
