About the role

  • Provide technical advice and support to the Sales team in identifying and qualifying customer requirements
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop solution proposals as technical lead
  • Prepare technical proposal content and solution concepts, including effort estimation and pricing based on our service catalog
  • Deliver level-appropriate presentations and technical workshops and support contract negotiations
  • Serve as the interface between Engineering, Operations and Support teams to ensure feasibility and implementation of solutions
  • Conduct technical clarifications with our suppliers and distributors and closely support proofs of concept
  • Monitor the market and competitors to continuously improve the solutions we offer
  • Maintain and expand customer relationships in close coordination with Account Managers and Project Managers
  • Support marketing activities with presentations and demos
  • Maintain required vendor certification programs (e.g., Microsoft, Sophos, Huawei, etc.)

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in a comparable role as a System Engineer or Pre-Sales
  • Broad, practical expertise in: Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, M365/Microsoft Azure, Citrix, virtualization and storage solutions (VMware, Hyper‑V / Huawei, NetApp, HPE Alletra), Veeam Backup, and firewall and networking environments (preferably Sophos, Huawei)
  • Completion of a higher technical college or equivalent; technical certifications are an advantage
  • Strong customer- and service-oriented mindset and enjoyment of customer contact
  • Confident and professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Team-oriented working style
  • High resilience and flexibility
  • Willingness to travel; driver’s license (category B)
