About the role
- Automation of IT processes: You develop and implement scripts—primarily using PowerShell—to automate tasks and processes in systems administration.
- Platform management: You manage and optimize our IT infrastructures, including servers, cloud platforms, networks and applications.
- Deployments: You support the automation of our deployment processes and develop Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines to accelerate rollouts and improve quality.
- You implement and monitor automated security and compliance policies to support our security team.
- Tool development: You create tools and scripts that simplify or eliminate manual procedures.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in operations and/or systems engineering
- Solid technical expertise in the Microsoft product ecosystem—especially Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, and in the data center environment (hypervisor, storage, networking, firewall, monitoring)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Ideally, experience with additional automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform or comparable solutions
- Holistic understanding of systems and their interdependencies—even beyond your immediate area of expertise
- Analytical thinking and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems quickly and effectively
- Enthusiasm for innovation, automation and digital transformation
- Confident communication skills in German and English—both written and spoken
