About the role
- Responsibility for the architecture and implementation of complex IT infrastructure projects
- Technical leadership and mentoring of the engineering team
- Design and implementation of Microsoft technologies (Azure, M365, Windows Server, security, networking, backup, etc.)
- Act as the interface between technology and the business, advising clients and implementing IT strategies
- Ensure high-quality, timely and cost-efficient delivery of projects
- Deliver audience-appropriate presentations and technical workshops
- Continuous optimization of IT processes, architectures and automations
Requirements
- Several years of experience in a comparable role as a Lead Engineer or Senior Systems Engineer with leadership responsibilities
- Deep technical expertise in Microsoft and cloud technologies — in particular M365, Azure, Windows Server, networking technologies and security
- Experience as an architect and project manager in complex IT environments
- Ideally, higher education in computer science or relevant certifications
- Independent work style with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of responsibility
- Enthusiasm for innovation, automation and digital transformation
- Confident communication in German and English, both spoken and written
