About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor, analyze, and interpret laws, bills, and other regulations applicable to the financial, payments, and technology sectors.
- Assess regulatory impacts on products, services, and projects of Grupo UOL companies, supporting the definition of institutional strategies and positions.
- Assist in institutional relations with regulatory agencies, authorities, trade associations, card schemes, the press, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Represent Grupo UOL companies in industry forums, working groups, institutional meetings, and market events, observing institutional workflows and governance.
- Draft and review opinions, contracts, reports, executive presentations, statements, notices, responses to public consultations, and other regulatory and institutional materials.
- Support the governance of industry associations involving Grupo UOL companies and help organize market events.
- Work collaboratively with Business, Legal, Compliance, Product, and Risk teams, providing technical-regulatory support for decision-making.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree with active OAB registration or degree in Economics.
- Previous experience in regulatory or institutional relations, preferably in the financial, payments, or technology sectors.
- Preferred: Experience at financial institutions, fintechs, technology companies, trade associations, or law firms with specialized regulatory practice.
- Advanced English.
- Experience in Legal Design.
