About the role

  • Lead, develop, and inspire the Product Design team, creating a high-performance environment, continuous learning, and autonomy.
  • Help structure the team's growth by identifying career progression opportunities and raising the overall design craft.
  • Define and evolve the user experience vision for Passei Direto and its products, ensuring consistency and quality across the entire user journey.
  • Actively contribute to product strategy alongside Product and Technology leadership.
  • Translate complex problems into simple, useful, and scalable solutions.
  • Strengthen discovery and research practices to ensure product decisions are guided by real user insights.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, validation, and continuous learning.
  • Connect design decisions to product metrics, such as engagement, retention, and value delivered to users.
  • Work in a data-informed manner, using experimentation and iterative learning to evolve the product.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and Data in defining and prioritizing solutions.
  • Ensure design has a strong voice in the product's most important decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience leading Product Design or UX teams for digital products.
  • Ability to develop talent and build high-performing teams.
  • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering.
  • Experience using data and metrics to guide product decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across the company.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems and transform insights into clear solutions.
  • Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on ability to execute when necessary.
  • Experience in digital education companies (EdTech) or content platforms.
  • Experience with large-scale products or a significant user base.
  • Experience structuring discovery, research, or design ops practices.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week) in Rio de Janeiro - RJ.
