About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clinical services at UofL Health’s Jewish Hospital and South Hospital
- Assess the physical status of clients through interview, health history, and physical examination
- Formulate treatment plans for health problems and follow-ups
- Write prescriptions for medication, blood tests, and routine diagnostic and follow-up studies
- Evaluate the quality of care provided and recommend changes for improvement
- Share clinical expertise with personnel
- Document and report care in an accurate and timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Emergency medicine residency-trained
- Board certified or board eligible/ABEM/ABOEM physician
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills
- Physician license for state of Kentucky
- ACLS/BLS Certification
