Inpatient Physical Therapist, Acute Care, PRN

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluates and implements competent therapy treatment and provides regular re-assessments for the purpose of treatment modification
- Communicates patient status (e.g., evaluation results, treatment plan, and goals)
- Consistently establishes and maintains effective working relations with patients and family members
- Demonstrates an understanding of the financial implications of treatment costs and resources on the department/facility
- Ensures that patient charges and corresponding clinical documentation are in compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversees rehab technicians, therapy assistants, and students consistent with discipline practice acts
- Actively participates in program development, performance improvement activities, and community events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or University
