Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluates and implements competent therapy treatment and provides regular re-assessments for the purpose of treatment modification
Communicates patient status (e.g., evaluation results, treatment plan, and goals)
Consistently establishes and maintains effective working relations with patients and family members
Demonstrates an understanding of the financial implications of treatment costs and resources on the department/facility
Ensures that patient charges and corresponding clinical documentation are in compliance with regulatory standards
Oversees rehab technicians, therapy assistants, and students consistent with discipline practice acts
Actively participates in program development, performance improvement activities, and community events

Requirements

What you’ll need

Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or University
