About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluates and implements competent therapy treatment and provides regular re-assessments for the purpose of treatment modification
  • Communicates patient status (e.g., evaluation results, treatment plan, and goals)
  • Consistently establishes and maintains effective working relations with patients and family members
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the financial implications of treatment costs and resources on the department/facility
  • Ensures that patient charges and corresponding clinical documentation are in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Oversees rehab technicians, therapy assistants, and students consistent with discipline practice acts
  • Actively participates in program development, performance improvement activities, and community events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or University
