About the role

  • Lead and coach a team of risk analysts.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day risk monitoring and investigations across channels.
  • Govern underwriting execution and due diligence quality.
  • Drive cross‑functional resolution with fraud, disputes, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Oversee the execution of the fraud risk strategy.
  • Establish KPIs and executive reporting.
  • Build external relationships with card networks, risk vendors, and peer acquirers.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in acquiring/payments risk with demonstrable results reducing losses at scale.
  • Deep expertise in card scheme programs and merchant risk typologies.
  • Advanced analytical capability (SQL required, Python/R or similar a plus).
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder influence, experience presenting to executives and external parties.
  • Fluent English, German or Danish a plus.
  • Must have a valid work permit to be eligible for this position.
