About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review, analyze, and interpret vocational and medical information
Assess vocational information and provide vocational opinions on duties and demands
Engage employers, claimants, healthcare providers, and internal resources to facilitate return-to-work and stay-at-work services
Assess and synthesize claim file information and offer balanced conclusions
Communicate complex vocational issues concisely in writing and verbally
Identify, develop, coordinate, and implement complex vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work plans
Gather pertinent vocational and medical documentation to assess file direction
Complete comprehensive forensic vocational assessments
Coach claims professionals to increase vocational knowledge

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or a related field
Certification required in rehabilitation counseling, disability management, or case management
3+ years vocational experience preferred
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Maintain professional certifications
Stay abreast of new trends in the vocational field
Complete required educational activities
