Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support to actuarial staff
  • Work on meaningful, challenging project assignments in areas such as pricing, valuation, modeling, experience analysis, and business analytics
  • Help maintain pricing and underwriting tools and valuation systems
  • Develop technical skills and data-driven problem-solving capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college degree program or a Spring 2027 graduate
  • Extensive coursework in math, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or finance
  • GPA of 3.0 overall required
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and on-campus involvement
  • At least 1 actuarial exam passed preferred
  • Available to work 40 hours per week during regular business hours
  • Adhere to Unum's hybrid work policy
