About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads enterprise Leave and Absence operations in support of growth objectives
- Accountable for complex, high-volume operations ensuring fair, accurate, timely outcomes
- Builds and scales a high-performing operations organization
- Ensures strong people leadership and data-driven decision-making are embedded across operations
- Drives continuous improvement through operational data and customer insights
- Balances customer-centric service delivery with productivity and quality outcomes
- Partners with Sales, Client Management, and technology leaders to deliver operational solutions
- Delivers results aligned to enterprise performance indicators while mitigating operational risk
- Leads long-term strategic planning and short-term operational execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in leading complex high volume operations
- Experience in absence management, disability, or related operations
- Success leading enterprise wide operations with emphasis on quality outcomes
- Proven ability to design, scale, and sustain operations
- Familiarity with the absence management marketplace and regulatory environment
- Experience with embedding lean management systems in continuous improvement environments
- Ability to balance customer-centric service delivery with productivity
- Experience leading digital and operational transformation initiatives
- Strong business and analytical acumen
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
