About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, code, test, and troubleshoot programs using appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology
- Maintain and modify existing programs, implementing approved changes
- Develop simple applications
- Test and develop programming modifications to enhance functionality
- Write new program code following prescribed specifications
- Write and maintain programming documentation
- Evaluate interrelationships between programs and identify potential unwanted effects of changes
- Analyze program performance and correct deficiencies in consultation with users and supervisor approval
- Confer with users to understand needed program changes and resolve questions about program intent, data input, output requirements, and internal checks and controls
- Conduct or support low- to moderate-level data analysis and research for management decision-making
- Maintain confidentiality of processed, stored, or accessed information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience is required
- 4+ years' experience in business or financial analysis, management reporting, or related work experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET
- Experience with SQL, including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Familiarity with Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and Web APIs
- Proficiency with Git and version-control platforms
- Experience with Azure or AWS for hosting, CI/CD, and cloud-based services
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Comfort with Windows Server environments and IIS
- Experience with Linux, including SUSE, Ubuntu, or RHEL
- Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security best practices
- Ability to manipulate PDF, JPEG, and AFP file formats programmatically
- Experience with iTextSharp, ImageMagick, or Ghostscript
