About the role

  • Provide support on all financial planning processes within the combined Yogurt & Desserts business unit
  • Act as a key business partner to the Marketing team providing financial and commercial decision support
  • Co-ordination of the Controlling month end process
  • Bridging analysis to explain profit result vs forecast, budget and prior year
  • Business Partner Key Brand Teams
  • Input into the PEP process
  • Manage the financial input to the Clarity system and ensure aligns with financial plans
  • Provide support & challenge to the Marketing team on Marketing budgets
  • Ownership of the quarterly forecast process
  • Preparation of standard Group financial charts & presentations
  • Delivery of profitability reporting

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA preferable)
  • Graduate level (2:1 minimum in business discipline)
  • Previous commercial finance experience in decision support role
  • Ability to remain accurate in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Ability to provide decision support & challenge to the commercial teams
  • Structured approach to managing priorities across multiple projects
  • Previous experience financial planning & reporting (desirable)
  • Competent in SAP (CO-PA) (desirable)
  • Experience of working within a FMCG environment (desirable)
