Accounts Receivable

• Maintain a detailed and organized accounts receivable system, including generating customer invoices, ensuring invoices are sent correctly and on time, processing payments, updating records, and maintaining customer accounts in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure timely customer payment collection by monitoring accounts, maintaining regular and proactive communication with customers, identifying issues early, and resolving inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
• Accurately track and record all trade spending, provide analysis and insight into customer spending, and validate and match deductions with promotional plans in Floret.
• Act as a liaison with the Sales team and brokers to track promotions and payments in Floret, while ensuring planning information in Modus is accurate and cross-referenced with Floret.
• Work closely with Accounts Payable to initiate account-specific bill requests and coordinate deduction back-up, including loading into Floret and sharing with brokers.
• Research non-trade deductions and recommend whether they are valid or invalid, securing customer support, working with internal and external resources to determine validity, securing approvals to clear valid deductions, and maintaining support for valid deductions.
• Analyze recurring deductions, identify trends, and help determine root causes and solutions to prevent ongoing issues, partnering with Operations, Finance, Sales, and customers.
• Dispute invalid trade and non-trade deductions through the proper channels, follow up to ensure reclaims are collected, and authorize and clear valid deductions based on supporting documentation and approval limits.
• Assist with monthly analysis and reporting to Finance and Operations management to identify deduction trends and track results for assigned customers.
• Seek efficiencies in processes and procedures to support a more timely month-end close of AR and Revenue, and assist with developing reporting metrics and dashboards to provide actionable feedback to the Sales team.
• Maintain proactive communication with internal partners and raise concerns when issues or trends are identified.

• Own CX operations by managing the relationship with our partner agents (via a third-party partner), setting SLAs, monitoring quality, and ensuring consumer responses are on-brand and up to date.

CX Manager

Software Engineer

• Bridge internal and external relationships while driving excellence in product manufacturing and experience, taking a people- and product-centric approach to leading company growth.
• Manage product commercialization by supporting early feasibility analysis through capital/technology/equipment analysis, scale-up, and commercialization, with a focus on optimizing existing core SKUs and supporting commercialization of new innovation projects.
• Bridge the handoff from Product R&D and industrial trials to full-on commercial production, with a detailed handoff of all technical support between Product R&D and Operations team as well as with manufacturing partners to support consistent everyday production.
• Lead documentation and record keeping efforts across all process parameters, defining troubleshooting guides and creating product manuals that ensure a successful transition from industrial trials to everyday production.
• Apply expertise with manufacturing partners, vendors, suppliers, and equipment companies to optimize existing manufacturing processes and ensure Unreal is operating as best-in-class for product quality, cost, scale, throughputs and efficiencies. Analyze opportunities for cost savings, scrap reduction, and product experience improvements, and evolve products and processes where possible.
• Partner with Operations team to continuously evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to meet increasing capacity requirements and deliver on technical specifications.
• Manufacture to Unreal standards by collaborating directly with the Founder to absorb institutional product knowledge and ensure alignment with Unreal’s historical standards and strategic objectives in all project executions. Make every bite matter, while improving operational and cost excellence.
• Travel as required to manufacturing sites and partners to oversee trials, support scale-up, and ensure technical feasibility of new partners, new formulas, and new suppliers.

Director, Product & Process Engineering

• Lead and oversee day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with company objectives.\n• Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to AR processes, internal controls, and systems to support efficient and accurate month-end close.\n• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all customer shipments.\n• Drive collections efforts and perform customer credit assessments to reduce DSO, minimize overdue balances, and manage credit limits and risk exposure.\n• Oversee cash application processes, ensuring prompt and accurate payment posting.\n• Analyze and code customer deductions using Modus and other tools; collaborate with Sales, FP&A, and customers to resolve discrepancies.\n• Manage and mentor one current AR team member and help scale the team as the business grows.\n• Set clear performance goals and KPIs (e.g., DSO, collection efficiency, resolution time).\n• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\n• Act as the main AR liaison with Sales, Customer Service, FP&A, and the broader Finance team.\n• Participate in customer meetings to resolve disputes or payment issues, as needed.\n• Partner with Sales and FP&A to align on trade spend accuracy and timely deduction processing using Modus.\n• Support broader net working capital initiatives across the organization.\n• Champion the transition from Airtable to Modus while leveraging systems capabilities to improve AR automation, reporting, visibility, and drive overall system adoption and efficiency.\n• Analyze AR aging reports and trends; recommend actions to improve collections and cash flow.\n• Provide weekly reporting to leadership on AR performance, key metrics, risk areas, customer spending patterns, and trade program effectiveness.
