About the role
- Lead the brand’s content strategy with a strong focus on SEO and AEO
- Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with SEO best practices and business objectives
- Consistently create high-quality, engaging content including blog posts, articles, website copy, email newsletters, infographics and print collateral
- Manage and optimize the editorial calendar and writers, assigning tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve website authority
- Research and implement SEO and AEO best practices to improve SERPs and answer engines
- Track and analyze website traffic, AI and other relevant metrics to measure and enhance content and social media campaign performance
- Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling, and engaging copy
- Define and uphold the brand voice, tone and messaging; provide strategic direction and editorial oversight
- Collaborate closely with marketing, creative teams, agencies, and cross-functional partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
- 5+ years previous experience in content marketing, SEO
- Proven track record with CMS and web analytic tools
- Experience with Wordpress, HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEM Rush, TubeBuddy and similar tools
- Strong and accurate research skills, analytical sense and ability to communicate effectively
- PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively partner with leaders across multiple functions
- Ability to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment
