About the role

As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing, automating, and securing our cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with software engineers to support containerized applications, streamline CI/CD workflows, and maintain secure, scalable environments. The Cloud Engineering team also handles DevOps responsibilities across the organization.
Managing cloud environments (primarily AWS and GCP) with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security
Supporting container-based applications (e.g., ECS, Cloud Run, etc.) using Docker or equivalent technologies
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage infrastructure (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
Responding to cloud security alerts and findings, and assisting in security posture improvements
Participating in the team’s on-call rotation
Supporting developers with database environments (mainly RDS and DocumentDB), ensuring performance and operational readiness
Using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to automate, troubleshoot, and code more efficiently

3–7 years of relevant experience in a Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering role
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP infrastructure and services
Experience with containerization platforms like Docker or Podman
Proficiency in building CI/CD workflows, especially using GitHub Actions
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
Basic scripting ability (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and tooling
Awareness of cloud security best practices and willingness to respond to alerts and remediation tasks
Comfort supporting cloud-managed databases (SQL and NoSQL) in collaboration with dev teams
Enthusiasm for using AI tools to accelerate tasks, write code, and solve technical problems efficiently
Proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment; eager to use modern AI-driven workflows.
