About the role
- Oversee and coordinate complex projects and teams.
- Manage and oversee individual installation projects within the larger technical security installations program, adhering to approved schedules, design specifications, and standards set by the client.
- Developing detailed project plans to guide client, contractor staff members, and project stakeholders and revising based on changing needs and requirements of the client.
- Meeting with client and stakeholders to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
- Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide hands-on oversight of project execution, including planning for equipment acquisition, site preparation, and coordination of installation activities.
- Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience, and strengths of contractor’s staff members.
- Facilitate kick-off meetings for each project, documenting key decisions, action items, and responsibilities to ensure alignment and accountability among project team members.
- Deliver weekly status reports that outline project progress, completed work, upcoming tasks, and any potential challenges or delays to client and stakeholders.
- Conduct post-award site surveys to assess local conditions and identify any obstacles that may impact the installation of security equipment at facilities.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials necessary for project implementation, working closely with facility points of contact (POCs) to ensure timely delivery and availability of resources.
- Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation.
- Developing excellent leadership, customer relations, and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least five (5) years of experience in managing and directing large-scale projects in the technology field, specifically related to security system installations.
- Proficiency in inventory control and process improvement.
- Working knowledge of project management software tools such as Microsoft Excel, and other relevant applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make hard decisions required to achieve project objectives.
