About the role
- Manage a portfolio of multiple (10+) concurrent client projects.
- Own project delivery from cradle to grave – directly responsible and accountable for the success of each project in the portfolio.
- Proactively manage project scope, budget, timeline, and risks to ensure that projects are delivered profitably and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in all project-related matters and facilitate effective communication with other project team members (e.g., Solution Architect, individual contributors).
- Lead cross-functional project teams consisting of 3-5 SMEs, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Managing project staffing, resourcing projects with SMEs as needed to deliver project commitments while balancing overall resource utilization to meet the company’s broader obligations.
- Oversee implementation to ensure that delivered work product meets client requirements and respects project constraints.
- Disciplined, comprehensive use of project management tools to ensure that stakeholders have clear visibility of project progress at any given time.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities for growth and collaborating with the sales team to capitalize on these opportunities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) directly leading the delivery of software implementation projects.
- Experience with HubSpot or other CRM implementations is preferred.
- Experience with software integration and data migration projects is a significant asset.
- Proven ability to effectively manage a portfolio of multiple concurrent projects.
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence in client interactions, including navigating complex or difficult situations and managing expectations in challenging circumstances.
- Ability to foster a partnership environment with clients to be seen as a valuable resource.
- Proactive risk management and ability to produce appropriate mitigation plans.
- Accountable, mature, responsible, organized, and delivers on promises.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while being able to manage and prioritize changing deadlines.
