About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support study program managers in exam and course planning as well as in study administration
- Assist with the organization and administration of teaching and examination management
- Advise and inform students on study-law matters and handle internal communications
- Perform documentation tasks, maintain databases and manage archiving
- Provide general team assistance (e.g. scheduling and room coordination)
- Support event organization and execution
- Assist with personnel administration (recruiting, onboarding), particularly in the role of time officer
- Help with budget management and purchasing procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Matura (Austrian secondary-school leaving certificate) or equivalent qualification
- Good user-level IT skills (MS Office, i3v, TYPO3)
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
- Good command of English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High service and customer orientation
- Organizational skills
- Independent and responsible working style
- Ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility
- Resilience and ability to work under pressure
- Experience in office management
- Knowledge of university structures and processes or experience in university administration
- Knowledge of study regulations and the study programs of the Faculty of Philological and Cultural Studies
