Requirements
A Doctoral Degree is required for this position, however, consideration will be given to applicants that are currently pursuing their Doctoral Degree and will complete the degree prior to starting work.
Education: Ph.D. degree (by the appointment start date) in biology, ecology and evolution, physiology, wildlife biology, or related field
Experience: Published manuscripts (or papers in review) demonstrating proficiency in analyzing genomic and transcriptomic data, or similar.
Experience in the application of bioinformatics methods, population genomic analyses, and/or genotype-environment analyses
Coding experience
Wet lab experience
Publication record showing proof of skillsets above (preprints accepted)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience and demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and within a team
Effective time management skills, clear organization, and prioritization of time-sensitive tasks.
