About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops, implements, and executes integrated marketing and communication plans aligned with University Housing priorities.
- Leads multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, web, social, email) to support recruitment, retention, and resident engagement.
- Manages the University Housing website as a primary marketing and communication platform.
- Leads the development and production of marketing content across platforms.
- Supervises student employees and coordinates marketing initiatives and Design Center operations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Higher Education Administration, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and digital content creation tools AND Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience supervising student employees, interns, or creative staff.
- Experience creating and analyzing marketing performance metrics, including website analytics and social media performance.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, execution, and successful completion within established timelines.
- Experience producing marketing and communication materials across digital and print platforms, including photography, video, and other visual content.
- Experience managing websites using WordPress or a similar content management system, including maintaining accessibility and usability standards.
- Experience developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of student recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies within a higher education setting.
