About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides advanced technical, analytical, and strategic guidance for information technology (IT) projects.
  • Manages vendor workflow and deliverables for complex initiatives.
  • Facilitates project status communication to stakeholders.
  • Provides project management, coordination, governance, and oversight in support of the Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) project and the EAP Acceleration Program.
  • Collaborates with IT, EAP, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project objectives, timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record of leading successful multi-unit, complex projects, preferably in a higher education or public sector environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
  • Expertise in risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to resolve conflicts and build consensus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to translate technical and operational details into clear, actionable updates and visualization aids for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic objectives with detailed project execution, translating complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
