About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • preparing images for evaluation
  • classifying observed changes
  • entering data into FDA compliant electronic case report forms
  • participating in quality control exercises
  • performing literature reviews and writing reports
  • reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting data and/or documents results for presentations and/or reporting to internal and external audiences
  • providing operational guidance on day-to-day activities of unit or program staff and/or student workers
  • operating, cleaning, and maintaining organization of research equipment and research area
  • tracking inventory levels and placing replenishment orders
  • participating in the development, interpretation, and implementation of research methodology and materials
  • conducting research experiments according to established research protocols

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • familiarity with computers, MS Office applications
  • strong organizational skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • normal color vision and stereoscopic acuity
  • familiarity with various ophthalmic image review software platforms (preferred)
  • 2 years of clinical experience in ophthalmology/optometry (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
