About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The candidate will participate in the School of Veterinary Medicine's research, teaching, and service programs.
Conduct independent extramurally funded research in an area related to the application of AI to improve animal and human health.
Participate in courses for veterinary medical, undergraduate, or graduate students in relevant disciplines.
Train graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
Provide academic service to the Department, School of Veterinary Medicine, and University.
Interact with faculty across campus in relevant disciplines.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Terminal Degree PhD, DVM/VMD, MD or equivalent in veterinary medicine, animal sciences, biomedical sciences, computational sciences, or a closely related field by the start date of this position.
