About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The candidate will participate in the School of Veterinary Medicine's research, teaching, and service programs.
  • Conduct independent extramurally funded research in an area related to the application of AI to improve animal and human health.
  • Participate in courses for veterinary medical, undergraduate, or graduate students in relevant disciplines.
  • Train graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
  • Provide academic service to the Department, School of Veterinary Medicine, and University.
  • Interact with faculty across campus in relevant disciplines.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Terminal Degree PhD, DVM/VMD, MD or equivalent in veterinary medicine, animal sciences, biomedical sciences, computational sciences, or a closely related field by the start date of this position.
