About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Processing donations in the donor management system
- Monitoring, recording, reconciling and/or reporting on donation accounts
- Identifying and resolving individual data anomalies and discrepancies
- Performing routine data entry
- Implementing plans and process improvements for administrative workflow
- Analyzing data
- Generating reports
- Liaising with internal and external contacts to obtain important data not available through the financial system
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum three (3) years relevant experience in administration
- Prior customer service experience in a professional setting
- Experience in financial procedures, biographic data and processes with respect to charitable donations
- General administrative accounting background
- High level of computer aptitude and accuracy required
- Knowledge of CRM software (such as Blackbaud or equivalent) and FIS an asset
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment, tact and discretion in the performance of the job functions where confidentiality is essential
- Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and accuracy of information in an often fast-paced and demanding environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
