About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies supporting institutional priorities, events, academic programs, and recruitment initiatives
- Manage digital marketing and advertising campaigns, including audience development, website updates, creative asset coordination, implementation, and performance analysis
- Support email marketing campaigns, promotional outreach, and audience communications
- Coordinate with branding and creative teams to develop graphics, photography, video, and web content
- Monitor campaign performance and engagement metrics and provide progress updates, reports, and recommendations
- Collaborate with communications, marketing, leadership, admissions, and development teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategic execution
- Lead digital and marketing projects from conception through completion
- Coordinate workflows, timelines, quality standards, resources, vendors, stakeholders, milestones, deliverables, and communications
- Facilitate project debriefs and after-action reviews
- Manage and update website content using White Whale / LiveWhale CMS
- Build and maintain webpages, news stories, profiles, event listings, and multimedia content
- Optimize website content for accuracy, accessibility, usability, engagement, and brand alignment
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements
- Develop, schedule, and publish content on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and YouTube
- Create digital campaigns, support content planning, copywriting, visual storytelling, livestreams, video promotion, and digital event coverage
- Use analytics and engagement metrics to inform strategy and improve performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, digital media, or related field
- At least three years of experience in communications, marketing, journalism, digital media, or related field
- Experience managing websites using White Whale / LiveWhale or similar CMS platforms
- Strong understanding of social media strategy and digital marketing best practices
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- High skill level and experience with SEO/SEM, website funnel design, Slate or other CRM, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn, and Data Studio
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively across teams
- Knowledge of accessibility and web content standards
- Creativity, integrity, discretion, excellent judgment, positive attitude, and willingness to help team members
- Experience in higher education, healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations preferred
- Photography/video editing experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships
- Background checks may be required after a conditional job offer
