About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate and manage radiation oncology patients, including initial consultations, treatment planning, on-treatment visits, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop optimal treatment plans
- Contour target volumes and critical structures for radiation treatment planning
- Review and approve treatment plans and dose distributions
- Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record according to departmental standards
- Participate in departmental quality assurance activities, such as chart rounds and tumor boards
- Stay current with advancements in radiation oncology through continued medical education
- Participate in departmental meetings relevant to clinical responsibilities
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including maintenance of board certification
Requirements
What you’ll need- M.D.
- License to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
- DEA Licensure
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
- 0-1 year of work experience in a specified medical field (preferred 2-3 years in Radiation Oncology)
