About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and manage radiation oncology patients, including initial consultations, treatment planning, on-treatment visits, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop optimal treatment plans
  • Contour target volumes and critical structures for radiation treatment planning
  • Review and approve treatment plans and dose distributions
  • Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record according to departmental standards
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance activities, such as chart rounds and tumor boards
  • Stay current with advancements in radiation oncology through continued medical education
  • Participate in departmental meetings relevant to clinical responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • M.D.
  • License to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
  • DEA Licensure
  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
  • 0-1 year of work experience in a specified medical field (preferred 2-3 years in Radiation Oncology)
