About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage proposal development, including budget and related pre-award activities for diverse sponsor portfolio
Manage post-award activities including account setup, monitor and review of all sponsored projects expenditures
Meet with principal investigators to discuss and advise them on financial issues related to their portfolios
Monitor and enforce compliance with sponsor guidelines and OMB Uniform Guidance
Produce and distribute specialized research-related financial reports for investigators

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Experience in post-award financial administration
Ability to monitor grant expenditures for compliance
Knowledge of university policies and procedures
Strong communication skills with faculty and staff
