About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform breast cancer research studies at the interface of epidemiology, imaging data science, and implementation science
- Oversee large-scale projects that seek to understand breast cancer risk
- Participate in the design, conduct, analysis, and writing of breast cancer research studies
- Collaborate closely with a diverse, multi-disciplinary group of faculty and trainees
- Process and analyze multimodal datasets including clinical risk factors, imaging data, genetics data, and tumor characteristics
- Assist with implementation trials to integrate novel approaches to risk assessment
- Manage IRB submissions and communications
- Create presentations, abstracts, and manuscripts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Epidemiology or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Training in epidemiology and/or biostatistics
- Knowledge of breast cancer biology and epidemiology
- Familiarity with electronic health record data, imaging research, and implementation science
