About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate, promote, and ensure good clinical practice in research protocols
- Independently manage different phases of complex clinical trials
- Mentor coordinators and research assistants
- Work with partnering institutions to create multi-center budgets and manage expenses
- Participate in study team and ongoing protocol meetings
- Support monitoring of external sites and assist in multisite trial management
- Prepare and process all Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation
- Coordinate and maintain documentation required by sponsor or CRO
- Assist in the coordination of Phase I-IV clinical trials
- Schedule patient visits and any necessary testing
- Adhere to University guidelines
- Process and ship biological samples as required by trial
- Conduct initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science
- 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
