About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate, promote, and ensure good clinical practice in research protocols
Independently manage different phases of complex clinical trials
Mentor coordinators and research assistants
Work with partnering institutions to create multi-center budgets and manage expenses
Participate in study team and ongoing protocol meetings
Support monitoring of external sites and assist in multisite trial management
Prepare and process all Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation
Coordinate and maintain documentation required by sponsor or CRO
Assist in the coordination of Phase I-IV clinical trials
Schedule patient visits and any necessary testing
Adhere to University guidelines
Process and ship biological samples as required by trial
Conduct initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits

Requirements

2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
