About the role

  • Facilitate, promote, and ensure good clinical practice in research protocols
  • Independently manage different phases of complex clinical trials
  • Mentor coordinators and research assistants
  • Work with partnering institutions to create multi-center budgets and manage expenses
  • Participate in study team and ongoing protocol meetings
  • Support monitoring of external sites and assist in multisite trial management
  • Prepare and process all Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation
  • Coordinate and maintain documentation required by sponsor or CRO
  • Assist in the coordination of Phase I-IV clinical trials
  • Schedule patient visits and any necessary testing
  • Adhere to University guidelines
  • Process and ship biological samples as required by trial
  • Conduct initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science
  • 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
