About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

ensures that the department is accurately processing patient and financial data
develops audit tool(s) to track and monitor audit outcomes
holds meetings to discuss outcome of data analysis and possible corrective actions
analyzes non-governmental payer contracts and assures that contractual adjustments are accurate
reviews and validates billing accounts, and communicates findings to appropriate staff
identifies and rectifies any special circumstances affecting delayed submission of payments
reviews billing information for accuracy and completeness, and identifies and rectifies problems
remains informed of statutory and regulatory changes affecting job functions
adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
