Workforce Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Creates and presents reports and tools to department staff and leadership and ensures that information provided is understood and used appropriately.
- Analyzes clinical performance in order to facilitate patient access to care.
- Monitors utilization and demand metric and makes recommendations.
- Documents business process improvements.
- Monitors overbooking and under-booking of provider schedules.
- Provides support to departments performing quality assurance checks on assigned schedules.
- Supports the labor negotiation process by collecting information from HR systems and other sources, as appropriate.
- Coordinates and oversees team initiatives and projects.
- Provides coaching and training to less experienced analysts, as needed.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office)
